About us

Government, from the inside out.

Crafted Lane Strategies is a government affairs and policy advisory firm. We advise businesses, nonprofits, and public agencies on policy and government affairs at the city, county, and state level.

Most organizations see government as a wall. We see a system with rules, timelines, and relationships that can be understood and navigated. Our job is to translate that system for the clients who need to move through it.

Our founder

Our founder spent more than a decade inside city, county, and state government as a senior policy advisor, government affairs lead, and legislative chief of staff. That experience shapes how we work: we know how proposals are reviewed, how recommendations are written, and how decisions get made.

Questions

Good to know

Who do you work with?

Businesses and developers, nonprofits, and public agencies that need to work with city, county, or state government, whether that means a permit, a contract, a new rule, or a partnership.

Are you lobbyists?

Our work is advisory: research, strategy, preparation, and guidance. If an engagement would require registered lobbying, we tell you up front and handle registration as the law requires.

How do we get started?

Send a note through the form below. We'll set up a short introductory call to understand your situation. If there's a fit, most clients begin with a strategy session.

How do you charge?

Strategy sessions are a flat rate. Ongoing work is billed as a monthly advisory fee, a fixed project fee, or hourly, depending on what fits the work. You'll have a written quote before anything begins.

Can you guarantee an approval or a contract?

No one can promise how a public body will vote or decide. What we promise is an honest read of your situation and a plan that gives you the best chance of success.

Where do you work?

We advise on city, county, and state matters and work with clients remotely, so location is rarely a barrier.
